Zenless Zone Zero Leak Reveals Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu’s Elements

A Zenless Zone Zero leak revealed the possible elements and specialties of new characters Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu. The sci-fi fantasy continues to expand its universe with new characters and locations, and fans can expect even more in the upcoming Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 update.

In a recent DevTalk, Zenless Zone Zero developers gave fans a first look at its Season 2 content, including new areas to explore and more lore to be uncovered. Game designer “y” also revealed that Yi Xuan, the leader of the Yunkui Summit group, would play a central role in the upcoming season, even giving fans a first look at the new character.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Anniversary Skins

Recent leaks from Zenless Zone Zero are hinting at several new skins set to arrive to the game as part of its first anniversary in July.

With Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 coming out on April 13, many are looking to the S-tier Agents they can pull for, like Yi Xuan and, allegedly, Ju Fufu, who is an NPC from the Yunkui Summit. Prominent leaker Full Stop Chan reported that Yi Xuan could be an Ether-type character with a still-unknown new Specialty, while Ju Fufu will reportedly be a Fire-type Stun unit. HoYoverse has yet to confirm if Ju Fufu will launch alongside Yi Xuan, but if the information is reliable, it’s likely that she’ll be part of Season 2’s list of new Agents.

How Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu Could Fit in Zenless Zone Zero Teams

In the comments, many Zenless Zone Zero fans expressed excitement for Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu, even comparing the introduction of a new Specialty to Honkai: Star Rail releasing a Remembrance Path. It’s still unknown whether Yi Xuan’s Specialty would make her an offensive or support Agent, but based on her design, she seems like the former. Meanwhile, many were also concerned about the lack of variety in Zenless Zone Zero‘s Agents, highlighting that the game has more offensive and stun units than defensive ones. Some also pointed out that Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu might not fit with existing teams because of their rumored kits, which would mean that Zenless Zone Zero will release more new Agents that could mesh well with them.

Zenless Zone Zero Agents can get stat buffs when they’re teamed up with fellow Agents of the same element, Specialty, and/or faction. Since Yi Xuan and Ju Fufu are both from the Yunkui Summit group, Zenless Zone Zero could prioritize releasing Agents from this faction, and those wielding the new Specialty, so they could synergize properly in fights. But since Season 2 is just starting, players will have to fit these Agents with their current team compositions if they want to experience them on the field.

For now, Zenless Zone Zero fans can look forward to the Version 1.7 Special Program stream premiering on April 11. It’s expected to showcase new S-tier Agents Vivian and Hugo, and also delve into the lore of a new faction known as Mockingbird.
