Version 1.7 will welcome two new S-Rank characters to the game’s roster, bringing the release of both Vivian and Hugo as the next playable units. Now, players are getting a better idea of how many Polychromes the update has to offer.

Zenless Zone Zero‘s recent Version 1.7 Special Program broadcast brought plenty of news about what HoYoverse will introduce with the upcoming update. The popular Fall Guys-inspired mini-game first featured in Version 1.5 will be making a return during the update in “Bangboo Bash,” including the addition of a Ranked ladder for the mini-game. HoYoverse also revealed the two re-run characters that will join Vivian and Hugo on the limited banner, with Jane during the first half and Lighter during the second half. With two new characters on the way, Version 1.7 has plenty of Polychromes coming for fans.

HoYoverse reveals new Version 1.7 details for Zenless Zone Zero, including the four agents who will be available on the limited banners.

A new chart shared by prominent community member Palito is showing off the full range of Polychromes players can acquire throughout Version 1.7. Version 1.7 will bring a plethora of limited-time events with Polychromes as rewards, including the “Say It With Flowers” event granting 700 Polychromes and Bangboo Bash rewarding players with 360 Polychromes. Boopons will also be a common reward throughout Version 1.7, with “A Tale Through the Looking Glass,” “Springtime Snapshots,” and “Savor the Flavor, Citywide Delivery” all granting 5 Boopons each. Version 1.7 is currently scheduled to launch on April 23.

Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.7 is set to act as a precursor to one of the game’s biggest updates to date. HoYoverse officially shared the first teasers for the game’s “Season 2” during Version 1.7’s Special Program, showing off loads of new characters and teasing new locations coming to the game. HoYoverse also revealed that Season 2’s launch would bring the long-awaited release of Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox, coinciding with the debut of Version 2.0. Zenless Zone Zero is looking to get even bigger and better throughout the next few months.
