Summary
- Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added Tempopo and Crime Scene Cleaner on April 17.
- Tempopo is a colorful adventure game with puzzle-solving and creature-collection mechanics, as well as a soundtrack from BAFTA award-winning composer Jeff van Dyck.
- Crime Scene Cleaner presently holds “Overwhelmingly Positive” Steam reviews on account of its addictive gameplay loop and macabre premise.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can start playing Tempopo and Crime Scene Cleaner as part of their subscriptions starting today. Following these arrivals, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate has now added ten new titles to its content catalog since the beginning of April 2025.
Described as a “psychedelic soundscape in the sky,” Tempopo is a colorful adventure game that combines puzzle-solving with creature collection mechanics. Players are tasked with navigating through a variety of themed islands by solving puzzles in order to rescue musical flowers, which then become part of their garden. Each flower type comes with its own tune that can be synthesized and turned into a unique musical performance. With music being a core component of the game’s identity, developer Witch Beam left nothing to chance and partnered with BAFTA award-winning composer Jeff van Dyck on Tempopo‘s soundtrack.

When Will Tempopo and Crime Scene Cleaner Reach Xbox Game Pass Standard?
While Crime Scene Cleaner has been available on PC since summer 2024, its Series X/S port was only released on April 17, qualifying it as a day-one Xbox Game Pass release. The game hence isn’t available on XGP Standard for now, much like Tempopo. Since Microsoft’s last subscription tier restructuring, new day-one titles have been exclusive to XGP Ultimate and PC Game Pass for at least six months before joining the Standard-tier library. Based on that trend, Tempopo and Crime Scene Cleaner likely won’t be available to Xbox Game Pass Standard subscribers until October 2025 at the earliest.
In the meantime, the much-rumored The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remaster is reportedly set to shadow-drop on Xbox Game Pass on Monday, April 21. While multiple leakers have corroborated this date, it remains unclear just how extensive the remaster will be—some earlier reports hinted it could be closer to a full-fledged remake built on a different engine, Unreal Engine 5.
