One Stardew Valley fan took to social media to show off their small, cute tattoo featuring the Golden and Blue chickens with a heart between them. They shared with the community that they have played Stardew Valley for over 3,000 hours in total. They also opened up and said that the game has helped them navigate their “worst days and health struggles,” and they had been wanting to express their love for it with a tattoo for a long time. Both the Golden and Blue Stardew Valley chickens depicted on the player’s skin require quite a lot of effort and dedication to get.

In order to get the Blue Chicken, players need to follow several steps that include constructing a Coop, befriending Shane (up to 8 hearts), triggering Shane’s 8-heart event, and visiting Marnie’s Ranch during the event. After following these steps, every time players buy a chicken egg from Marnie, there’s a chance that it will be blue. When it comes to Stardew Valley’s Golden Chicken, the challenge is higher. To do so, players need to complete the whole game and reach 100% perfection, and then, they can buy a Golden Egg for 100,000g.

Sourbookworm’s tattoo holds a special meaning for them, though it also represents the dedication that players put into completing Stardew Valley and progressing through the game.
