Schedule 1 Releases New Beta Update for April 2025

Summary
- Schedule 1 receives a new beta update, bringing the game to version 0.3.4f5.
- The update now allows players to access employees’ inventory.
- A fix for Mick not appearing at the Pawn Shop has also been implemented.
Schedule 1 developer TVGS has released a new beta update for the popular crime game, featuring a new round of bug fixes and gameplay improvements. The latest Schedule 1 update can only be accessed in the game’s beta branch on Steam. A full release is expected to arrive in the coming days, assuming no issues arise in the meantime.
After becoming an overnight sensation on Steam, Schedule 1‘s solo developer has remained committed to updating the game with even more content, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. While a new update is now available in beta, version 0.3.4 received a full release less than a week ago. The previous Schedule 1 update added tons of new content and made plenty of significant changes. Players now have access to Bleuballs Boutique, where they can purchase new decorative items. The update also added a Pawn Shop, allowing players to sell “pretty much anything.”

On April 15, TVGS deployed another new beta update for Schedule 1. To access the update, players will need to head to Schedule 1 on Steam, right-click the game, and navigate to Properties, then select Betas and change the Beta Participation to Beta. The game will then update and allow players to check out the new bug fixes and gameplay improvements. According to the official patch notes, which can be found further down this article, update v0.3.4f5 allows players to access the inventory of employees by talking to them. This should hopefully prevent products from being lost, as players were reporting workers “stealing” items due to a bug.
TVGS has also made some important bug fixes alongside the new gameplay improvement. Patch v0.3.4f5 includes a fix for chemists causing cauldrons to become unstable and a fix for botanists causing drying racks to become unstable. There is also a fix for Schedule 1‘s new Pawn Shop, which was added in last week’s update. Fans quickly noticed that Mick (the Pawn Shop owner) was constantly unavailable, thus making the shop unusable for many. This issue was related to some scheduling conflicts when Mick was assigned to a Dealer. Thankfully, the new beta update has now fixed this issue, so Mick should be at the Pawn Shop when players next visit.
Sadly, the beta update does not include new content, but there is still plenty to look forward to. Tyler, the game’s solo developer, recently revealed that he is working on improving the title’s optimization to further support Schedule 1 on Steam Deck. While it is currently marked as “playable” on the device, with some users averaging around 40 to 60 frames per second, it has yet to be officially verified on the device. It’s unclear how long it may take, but the dev has promised Steam Deck support in a future update.
