Summary

  • Pokemon GO’s Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day on May 3 will offer multiple bonuses and an increased chance of shiny encounters.

Pokemon GO has announced a new Raid Day on May 3 featuring Mega Kangaskhan. The Pokemon GO raid calendar has been quite busy, with players getting to face off against various pocket monsters.

Kangaskhan was one of the first critters to become available when Pokemon GO was released. However, there is a catch: while the Kantonian monster can be found in the wild, Kangaskhan is exclusive to Australia. Its Mega form was added in 2022 at the start of A Mega Moment, an event launched to celebrate the reintroduction of Mega Evolutions and related features to the augmented reality game. Last seen in raids in August 2024, Niantic has confirmed that Mega Kangaskhan will return soon.
