Pokemon GO has announced the debut of Dynamax Entei in a new Max Battle Weekend starting on April 26. That will be the third Dynamax Pokemon from Johto that Niantic adds to Pokemon GO and the fourth legendary critter that debuts in 2025.

Pokemon GO added Dynamax Articuno on January 27 during the Legendary Flight event. The event also brought Dynamax Zapdos on the same day, and Dynamax Moltres on February 3. On March 15, it was Dynamax Raikou’s turn to make its Pokemon GO debut during a new Max Battle Weekend. For April, the developers have confirmed another Dynamax debut, bringing to trainers one of the most powerful Gen 2 monsters.

Pokemon GO announces a new Raid Day for April 2025, and the event will feature three popular pocket monsters for players to catch.

Pokemon GO has confirmed the debut of Dynamax Entei in the Max Battle Weekend that will kick off on Saturday, April 26, at 6 am and end on Sunday, April 27, at 9 pm local time. During this period, the Legendary Pokemon will be available in five-star Max Battles, with the chance of a shiny one appearing. Players can collect up to 1,600 Max Particles and need only ¼ of the adventure distance to earn particles, while Power Spots will refresh more frequently and give eight times as many Max Particles.

By completing the research, players will encounter Dynamax Sobble, earn Sobble Candy, Max Particles, and more. April also promises new firsts with the arrival of the Tinkatink evolutionary line in Pokemon GO in an event running from April 16 to 22.
