Origins Releases New Update for April 2025

Developer Omega Force and publisher Koei Tecmo recently released a new patch for Dynasty Warriors: Origins. This new Dynasty Warriors: Origins update adds a major feature to the title and fixes some bugs, continuing the developer’s support for the popular hack and slash action game.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is the tenth mainline game in the series, which started in 1997. Following the launch of Dynasty Warriors 9 in 2018, the popular action franchise did not see any new mainline games for a while, and the release of Origins was an unexpected surprise for fans. Dynasty Warriors: Origins received generally positive reviews, as critics praised its combat and satisfying progression. However, some were not impressed by its story, which rebooted the franchise and covered the first half of the classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel.

Now, the newest update for Dynasty Warriors: Origins has brought some interesting additions to the game, including a new Photo Mode, which can be used to produce amazing images during the game’s epic fights. Warriors: Abyss was shadow-dropped by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force earlier in 2025. The roguelite hack and slash game presented gamers with the challenge of entering a randomly generated “hell” to face off against the forces of evil, moving through different levels, gathering resources, and improving their fighting strategies.
