Sign-ups for the World of Warcraft Classic: Mists of Pandaria beta are officially live. Players can opt in to the beta on the World of Warcraft website right now for a chance to experience Mists of Pandaria Classic ahead of its arrival this summer.
During last year’s Warcraft Direct, World of Warcraft Classic officially confirmed that Mists of Pandaria was coming to the retro servers before the end of the year. Introducing features like the cross-faction Pandaren race, the Monk class, and the continent of Pandaria, this beloved expansion will soon be playable by all Classic progression characters.

Now, another major milestone on the road to WoW Classic: Mists of Pandaria’s release has arrived. Sign-ups for the Mists of Pandaria Classic beta are now live, allowing fans to opt in to the experience ahead of its release. To opt in, players with an active subscription to World of Warcraft need only log into their Battle.net accounts on the game’s website, press the Beta Opt-In button at the top of the Mists of Pandaria Classic page, then select Request Beta Access on the following page. Once opted in, the original button will change to a check mark, indicating that the account is eligible to receive an invitation once the beta begins.
How to Opt In to the WoW Classic: Mists of Pandaria Beta

Log into a World of Warcraft account on the Battle.net website.
- Fans must have an active subscription to be selected for the beta.
- Navigate to the World of Warcraft Classic: Mists of Pandaria landing page.
- Select the Beta Opt-In button in the center of the screen, or in the top right corner.

Select “Request Beta Access” on the following screen.
- Once complete, the Beta Opt-In button on the first page should have a check mark on it.
The Mists of Pandaria Classic beta does not have a release date yet, but what information is known can give players a good guess as to when it will arrive. WoW Classic: Mists of Pandaria is set to launch no later than August 31. With the Pre-Patch expected about a month earlier, and most beta tests taking place in the two months ahead of that, the Mists of Pandaria Classic beta will likely begin no later than the end of May.
As they wait for the beta, WoW fans can pick up the Mists of Pandaria Classic Upgrade Packs. While they are not required to play Mists of Pandaria Classic when it releases, these bundles include tons of brand-new Sha-themed cosmetics for both modern and Classic, making them a must-have for fans of the expansion.
