Marvel Rivals has revealed patch notes for an update coming to the popular hero shooter on April 17 at 2 AM PDT. NetEase Games has finally released Season 2 of Marvel Rivals, which will introduce the highly requested villain Ultron during a major mid-season update.

The win rates for Marvel Rivals‘ heroes were recently revealed, giving players some insight into which characters seem to be excelling in Season 2: Hellfire Gala. So far, Mister Fantastic has pulled ahead of everyone else. The powerful Duelist is known for his melee abilities that have a long reach and can be swept across the battlefield to dish out even more damage. He also has a reputation for being one of the most durable Duelists in the game, as he has a large amount of health and can gain shields. Mister Fantastic even has a team-up ability with Invisible Woman that makes him even harder to eliminate.

NetEase Games has revealed a new set of patch notes for Marvel Rivals, letting players know what they can expect to see when a fresh update launches on April 17 at 2 AM PDT. For many fans, the star of the show appears to be a new costume customization feature coming to Marvel Rivals, which will add new color options to existing outfits. So far, NetEase Games has shown off new color schemes for heroes like Luna Snow, Magik, Winter Soldier, and Psylocke.

Marvel Rivals Releases April 17 Update Patch Notes

It was also revealed that NetEase Games will be releasing fresh skins for Peni Parker and Doctor Strange in Marvel Rivals‘ shop on April 17 at 7 PM PDT. Peni Parker’s skin is based on concept art created by the popular artist Peach Momoko. Meanwhile, Doctor Strange’s costume is based on his zombie form from the MCU film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. While fans do know the skins will appear in the shop, there has been no official announcement about just how much the bundles will cost. There will be no downtime related to the update, meaning players can simply restart their game and jump right back into the action after it launches.

NetEase Games has also introduced some big fixes for the title’s heroes, like an issue where Marvel Rivals‘ Wolverine wouldn’t be able to complete his ultimate ability due to network connection issues. It also corrected a problem where sometimes Adam Warlock would resurrect teammates out of bounds, causing them to be stuck in limbo for the duration of the match. With new features and skins to enjoy, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.

The Thing’s Rocky Report: Corrected the ability icon error in the KO Prompt when the Thing’s Ultimate Ability causes terrain kills. Now, when he brings the pain, the prompt will accurately reflect the mayhem.
Spider-Island Resurrection Reboot: Fixed an issue where Adam Warlock could accidentally resurrect teammates in the out-of-play area on Spider-Islands. Now, teammates will return to solid ground instead of being stuck in limbo!
