In a recent Twitter post, Marvel Rivals shared a first look at new skins for the Strategist Loki and the Duelist Hela, coming to the game on April 24, 7 PM PDT. Both skins are inspired by Kirisaki Mountain, a location featured in various pieces of Marvel media. Loki’s skin is called “Shin Sagi-Shi,” while Hela’s is titled “Yami No Karasu.” As their names suggest, the outfits are based on traditional Japanese attire, with Loki getting a new wooden scepter and horns, and Hela boasting green skin. The costumes are the latest additions to the Kirisaki-themed line, after Marvel Rivals added Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi skin earlier in Season 2.

NetEase hasn’t confirmed the price of the cosmetics yet, but players will likely receive more information soon. Premium skins in Marvel Rivals are usually available for a limited time, so players may want to buy them as soon as possible in the in-game store. On the other hand, Marvel Rivals‘ Season 2 Battle Pass lets fans earn free skins for Scarlet Witch, Magik, and Iron Fist.
It’s been less than six months since Marvel Rivals first launched, but the game has already become a massive success in the multiplayer shooter genre. This would be the game’s first major competition and could boost its popularity even further. Developer NetEase has already teased plans to collaborate with more high-profile creators as well in Season 3 and 4, but fans will have to wait for more details.
