On Reddit, user Sypher04_ shared an image that may indicate the arrival of Jean Grey and Elixir in Marvel Rivals Season 3. The image is a screenshot of an event page, in which the characters’ real names and codenames appear under the challenges. This discovery of the next potential additions to the Marvel Rivals cast has players excited, as Jean Grey’s arrival is highly anticipated by the community. The mention of Elixir made fans curious, because while several of them know the character, others have no idea who he is.
Who Are Jean Grey and Elixir, the Possible Upcoming Marvel Rivals Characters?
Jean Grey is one of the most powerful X-Men in existence, and one of the most recognizable. Her first appearance in the comics dates back to 1963, with her transformation into the Phoenix being one of her most memorable moments. Her origins, however, lie with Jean joining Professor Xavier’s school for mutants along with Cyclops, Beast, Iceman, and Angel. Initially, she used the codename Marvel Girl, and only in the X-Men Gold Team era did she drop it for her real name. Joshua Foley debuted in the comics in 2003, and his achievements are just as impressive. An Omega-level mutant, Foley has powerful healing abilities that allow him to even resurrect himself.
This finding is just community speculation, as there is no official word from the developers. However, it is important that although not much is known about the next season of Marvel Rivals, previous rumors have talked about Jean Grey joining the game in Season 3 alongside Captain Marvel instead of Elixir. While players await more information to be shared, the community is getting ready for Ultron to arrive in Marvel Rivals as the second Season 2 character.
