Infinity Nikki Leaks Info About Limited-Time Revelation Crystals

Summary

  • Limited-Time Revelation Crystals are expected to return in Version 1.5 as an optional purchase, allowing players to buy cosmetic items.
  • According to a leak, the crystals will be part of a pre-sale cosmetic package for Version 1.5.

A recent Infinity Nikki leak has clarified how the controversial Limited-Time Revelation Crystals will work in Version 1.5, assuring players that they won’t be added at the expense of permanent currency. While Infinity Nikki fans have more-or-less been satisfied with the game, it’s fair to say that it still had its share of controversies at launch. One of these ended up being Limited-Time Revelation Crystals, which were in use for the duration of Version 1.0.

As a concept, limited currency is highly controversial in gacha games, as it forces players to gamble on banners that they’re not interested in. When Infinity Nikki added Limited-Time Revelation Crystals in Version 1.0, it was met with backlash from its community, who were hoping that Infold would abandon the concept in future updates. While this ended up being true, it would seem that they’re coming back in Version 1.5, as Infinity Nikki gears up for its biggest patch to date.

April 29 Will Be a Big Day for Infinity Nikki

Developer Papergames reveals that April 29 will be a big day for Infinity Nikki players, with the game set to come to a brand new platform.

According to kkr_ro, the Limited-Time Revelation Crystals will be part of a pre-sale package for Version 1.5. This pack will be released near the end of Version 1.4, and will seemingly offer cosmetic items as well. The item in question is a previously datamined earring, and kkr_ro claims that the limited currency won’t have an effect on the number of Diamonds that Infinity Nikki players earn per patch. This pack will likely be a one-time discounted purchase for fans who may need more currency for Version 1.5.

Infinity Nikki May Add Limited-Time Revelation Crystals As an Optional Purchase

Not only will Version 1.5 introduce Serenity Island to Infinity Nikki, but it will also feature two 5-Star Limited Banners. The new zone will come packed with exploration rewards, but given the fact that both outfits will be made of 11 pieces, it will take 220 Revelation Crystals to guarantee a full set. According to earlier leaks, one banner will have an icy mermaid theme, while the other will feature bubbles or fiery feathers in its design.

Given the way Epiphany Crystals were implemented in Infinity Nikki, it would seem that Infold is interested in catering to big spenders by offering a wide variety of currency packs. With Version 1.5 being the biggest Infinity Nikki update thus far, a pack of Limited-Time Revelation Crystals would likely come in handy to these players. Assuming that it continues to be an optional purchase, most Infinity Nikki fans are ready to accept limited currency. Version 1.5 is expected to launch on April 29, 2025, alongside the Steam release of Infinity Nikki.
