The addition of Local Legends and the Imaginarium Theater widened the scope of endgame activities, and the Natlan era has seen both game modes expanded in significant ways.

The Imaginarium Theater now boasts a Visionary Mode and continues to expand its selection of cosmetic rewards. However, it has also been a playground for the developers to test new Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact, as Version 5.6 will encourage players to pair Cryo and Dendro for the first time. This mechanic, called Rimegrass, will solely exist as a Brilliant Blessing for now, but many fans speculate that Genshin Impact may take it out of the Imaginarium Theater in the near future.

According to a recent leak, Genshin Impact could be getting a new type of endgame in the near future, with a format inspired by a recent combat event.

Details about the updated Imaginarium Theater come from HomDGCat, which covers the Opening Characters, Special Invitations, and Boss Chambers for June 2025. The three elements for the upcoming season will be Dendro, Cryo, and Electro – allowing for Aggravate and Physical teams, but also the so-called Fridge teams as well. Thanks to Special Invitations, players will have access to Furina, Xingqiu, Dehya, and Xiangling, which opens up Hyperbloom and even Burgeon. Given the ownership rate of Furina in Genshin Impact, most players will be able to have all four Special Invitiations for this season of the Imaginarium Theater.
