The Elder Scrolls Online fans have a chance to bring a unique part of the game into their homes with the release of physical pieces of the game’s original servers, which are currently up for sale by Bethesda. The unveiling of The Elder Scrolls Online in 2012 created quite a stir among the franchise’s fans, offering them the opportunity to adventure across all of Tamriel with friends in an MMORPG format. The game’s official launch on PC in April 2014 left a lot of players feeling deflated, as they found the game at launch bug-riddled and lacking in innovation, but improvements throughout the following year, including a move away from a subscription-based model, earned it a lot of credibility in the online gamer community.

While the Elder Scrolls 6 will likely have more advanced graphics and gameplay than ESO, the latter could still be superior in one combat element.
Having celebrated The Elder Scrolls Online‘s 10-year anniversary about a year ago, the game’s publisher is now offering players a chance to dive into history, with its official store listing pre-order sales for sticks of RAM from the servers that housed the game at launch. Those who sign up for the pre-order sale will receive one of these slivers of history in an 80-square-inch framed wooden case with a velvet backing, accompanied by a gold-plated zinc alloy plaque adorned with the game’s 10-year-anniversary logo. The RAM stick itself will be removable and comes with a holographic sticker denoting its number in the limited set, and each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. Bethesda will only be releasing 2,000 of these limited-edition items, which are expected to ship in July 2025 and sell for $110 each, with the option to pay in installments.
Now in its eleventh year, The Elder Scrolls Online is still adding dungeons and hosting special events for its player community. The Fallen Banners DLC released in early March added the Exiled Redoubt and Lep Seclusa four-player PvE dungeons and offered new story content with the addition of new quests to protect a Moth Priest and join an investigation into missing soldiers headed by an Imperial battlemage. Additionally, the Return of the Worm Cult event featuring Molag Bal is set to kick off on June 2 for PC and on June 18 for players on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Along with that recent update, reveals from The Elder Scrolls Online Direct held earlier this week showed plenty of new content on the horizon. These changes include the addition of subclasses, the introduction of remix seasons, and a multi-server-wide competition to be the first to complete community goals.
