Founded by game industry veterans in 2009, Devolver Digital started its activities by publishing games in the Serious Sam franchise. The publisher’s focus started to change with the release of Hotline Miami in 2012, developed by Dennaton Games. After this widely popular release, the company started to publish more indie games, including dozens of new titles, with highlights such as The Talos Principle in 2014, Gris in 2018, Katana Zero in 2019, and Cult of the Lamb in 2022.
