April 24 Will Be a Big Day for FBC: Firebreak

Remedy Entertainment recently unveiled a new trailer for FBC: Firebreak, which confirmed that the game will get a special livestream on April 24. The live stream will hopefully answer fans’ most burning questions about the co-op shooter, so it’ll likely be an important day for gamers interested in FBC: Firebreak.

Announced last year, FBC: Firebreak is an upcoming cooperative FPS set inside the Federal Bureau of Control, the mysterious, clandestine US government organization in which Control was set. According to its developers, FBC: Firebreak will be a three-player co-op game, and gamers will team up to take on dangerous “Jobs” inside the FBC. The game is set to be a part of the increasingly popular Alan Wake shared universe, and while recent previews revealed much about FBC: Firebreak, there’s still a lot to be shared about the game.

FBC: Firebreak’s Release Window May Be Perfectly Timed

Even though Remedy Entertainment hasn’t provided an exact release date for FBC: Firebreak just yet, it seems to be launching at an opportune time.

Now, Remedy Entertainment has unveiled a short new FBC: Firebreak trailer called “Hazards of the Job,” which showcases some gameplay revolving around players fighting enemies in the Oldest House, and facing hazards such as enormous fires and weird, pink, explosive goo. The most important element of the video, however, is that it promises a “special livestream” will be held on April 24 at 1 PM EDT. Not much was revealed about the livestream, though, with the trailer only teasing that it will feature “brand-new content and exciting news.” In any case, it’s likely that gamers eager to play FBC: Firebreak should keep an eye out for the event.

FBC: Firebreak Livestream Date and Time

Hopefully, the upcoming livestream will share even more information about FBC: Firebreak’s story, beyond showing more gameplay. Due to it being part of the Alan Wake and Control universe, gamers who love these titles will likely want to understand better how the upcoming multiplayer game ties in with the rest of the setting. Earlier this year, for example, the FBC: Firebreak devs hinted at Jesse Faden’s role in the game, indicating that the protagonist of Control could appear, despite not being a playable character.

FBC: Firebreak recently confirmed its release window for the summer of 2025. This indicates that Remedy will likely ramp up on the game’s marketing in the following months, sharing more information to entice gamers to try out the live-service title.
