Planet Coaster 2 may have just recently hit store shelves, but it already feels like the perfect time to dive into the world of crossovers.

In a YouTube video discussing the highlights of Planet Coaster 2‘s upcoming Update 4, Frontier Developments revealed that restaurants are finally set to be added to the game. Every great theme park management game needs restaurants, and on April 22, Update 4 is providing exactly that. Players will be able to pick from several themed blueprints or create their own restaurants from scratch. Pool color customization is another highlight of Update 4, allowing players to change the color of the water and tiles in pools.

Planet Coaster 2 Update 4 Releases on April 22

Planet Coaster 2‘s Workshop support will also be getting some small tweaks, too, with the addition of two new sections: Featured Creators and Featured Creations. This should make it much easier for players to find the best community creations to download for themselves. These features are just highlights of Update 4, with the video also promising enhancements to Franchise mode, more de-themed coasters for customization, additional scenery pieces, and more when it releases on April 22.

Beyond Update 4, Frontier Developments has even more planned for the future of Planet Coaster 2. Right now, the studio is keeping its cards close to its chest, but fans will be able to tune in to the next Frontier Unlocked livestream on April 30 to get a look at what the future holds for the game. The most recent Planet Coaster 2 DLC is the Thrill-Seekers Ride Pack, which launched back in December, and even more DLC may be planned going forward, especially considering how many expansions most Frontier Developments games have.
