Another Day 1 Xbox Game Pass Game Confirmed for Summer 2025

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have yet another day one game coming in summer 2025 in the form of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. New games are confirmed for Xbox Game Pass on a regular basis, so subscribers always have an idea of what to expect from one month to the next.

April 2025 alone has proven to be an especially busy month for Xbox Game Pass. Day one games like South of Midnight and the critically-acclaimed Blue Prince are readily available on Xbox Game Pass, while titles like Grand Theft Auto 5 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are right around the corner. In the meantime, the Xbox Game Pass May 2025 lineup is starting to take shape, with Revenge of the Savage Planet and Doom: The Dark Ages on deck. Things beyond that are a bit hazy, but day one Xbox Game Pass games are slowly being revealed for the summer months.

Two Classic Call of Duty Games Could Be Added to Xbox Game Pass Soon

Evidence continues to mount surrounding the addition of classic Call of Duty titles on Xbox Game Pass, with two games possibly being added soon.

The latest game confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass’ Ultimate tier in summer 2025 is Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. An action-RPG where players battle through dungeons at night and run a shop during the day, the original Moonlighter earned mostly positive reviews when it was first released in 2018. Moonlighter 2 will retain the defining elements of the original, but with some clever changes and a brand-new art style that trades the pixel look for a 3D art. It looks rather impressive, and Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play through it in its entirety on the very day of its launch in summer 2025.

Moonlighter 2 is Coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day One

Moonlighter 2 is currently without a specific release date at the time of this writing, but fans can count on it hitting Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at some point this summer. In the meantime, there are three other day one Xbox Game Pass games confirmed for the summer months that have solid release dates. In June, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to survival game The Alters on June 13 and soccer game Rematch on June 19.

The other day one Xbox Game Pass game confirmed for summer 2025 is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. This remake combines elements of THPS 3 and 4 together into a single package and will be available on July 11. Of course, there will be other day one Xbox Game Pass games released in June, July, and August, but they have yet to be revealed.
