Acer Expands QD-OLED Monitor Lineup with Predator X32 X2 and X27U X1
Acer has introduced two new QD-OLED gaming monitors, the Predator X32 X2 and Predator X27U X1, aimed at expanding its high-performance display lineup. Both models incorporate quantum dot and OLED technologies to offer improved contrast, color reproduction, and power efficiency compared to conventional LCD monitors.
The Predator X27U X1, meanwhile, comes with a smaller 26.5-inch WQHD (2560×1440) panel and also supports refresh rates up to 240 Hz. The monitor includes a Dynamic Refresh Rate feature that allows users to switch to 60 Hz through the display port when needed, making it adaptable for both gaming and general use.

Both monitors offer a 0.03 ms (gray-to-gray) response time and support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, aiming to reduce motion blur and screen tearing in fast-paced gaming scenarios. They are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, cover 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and feature a high contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1.
Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort, allowing compatibility with current-generation gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, in addition to PC setups. The monitors are also equipped with ergonomic stands that support tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, as well as blue light filtering technology for extended viewing sessions.
Additional features include Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes, enabling users to multitask across multiple content sources.
Availability and Pricing
The Predator X27U X1 is scheduled to launch in EMEA markets starting in June with a base price of USD 699. The Predator X32 X2 will follow in August with pricing starting at USD 1,199.
