Genshin Impact Officially Reveals Second Half Banners for Version 5.5

Summary
- Xilonen, Venti, and Faruzan headline Genshin Impact’s Version 5.5 Phase 2 banners with desired abilities and weapons.
- Xilonen shines as a Support character, attracting fans for both her kit and valuable Constellations.
- Genshin Impact’s future features Escoffier, Kinich, Navia, and Raiden in Version 5.6 after the set of event banners in May 2025.
Genshin Impact has officially revealed the lineup for the second phase of Version 5.5, with Xilonen, Venti, and Faruzan capping off another stacked set of banners. While Varesa and Iansan have been the undisputed stars of Version 5.5, Genshin Impact players can also expect its second half to kick off some major Natlan reruns. The first among these will be Xilonen, a character who needs no introduction, as the 5-Star Geo Sword has established her role in the meta practically overnight.
As a Support character in Genshin Impact, Xilonen offers a mix of elemental shred, single-target healing, and attack buffs via her ability kit and artifact bonuses. This combination makes her especially desirable, with many players viewing Xilonen as a kind of modern Kazuha. With a powerful Signature Weapon, her banner in Version 5.5 will draw heavy interest from fans – those who missed her on the debut banner, as well as those who want her valuable Constellations.

Genshin Impact Version 5.6: Predicting Escoffier’s Place in the Meta
Genshin Impact’s upcoming five-star Cryo character, Escoffier, could be a game-changer for Hydro and Cryo Freeze team compositions in version 5.6.
The Event Banners were shared on Reddit by the official Genshin Impact account, confirming that the second half of Version 5.5 would feature Xilonen, Venti, Beidou, Yanfei, and Faruzan. The phase will last from April 15, 2025, until May 6, 2025. Venti is expected to conclude the Archon rerun for the Natlan era, but the real prize will be his shared Weapon Banner with Xilonen. Elegy for the End continues to be one of the best Bows in Genshin Impact, which is pretty impressive for a Signature Weapon from Version 1.4.
Genshin Impact: Second Half Event Banners for Version 5.5
- Xilonen – 5-Star Geo Sword
- Venti – 5-Star Anemo Bow
- Beidou – 4-Star Electro Claymore
- Yanfei – 4-Star Pyro Catalyst
- Faruzan – 4-Star Anemo Bow
As for the 4-Stars on the Event Banner, Faruzan is likely the best value from a gameplay standpoint. Assuming a player has at least one Anemo hypercarry like Xiao or Wanderer, Faruzan and her Constellations can elevate their potential to new heights. However, 4-Star characters in Genshin Impact aren’t guaranteed, and as such, getting them to C6 is often a riskier endeavor than getting a 5-Star.
Players who manage to save their Primogems in Genshin Impact in Version 5.5 will have Escoffier, Kinich, Navia, and Raiden waiting for them in the next update. All signs point towards Escoffier dragging Freeze back into relevancy, and her banner will thus draw plenty of interest from Cryo fans. Kinich is a premium hypercarry for Burning teams, while Navia continues to be the cream of the crop for Geo. Lastly, Raiden continues to be a valuable Electro character, albeit an expensive one when compared to Fischl or Ororon. Version 5.6 is expected to launch on May 7, 2025, shortly after the next set of Event Banners ends.
